The starflower
Lysimachia borealis, or Starflower, is perennial wildflower native to Northern Michigan. It is a tenacious and beautiful plant, thriving in a variety of habitats and microclimates common to the state. True to its latin moniker, "borealis", the Starflower thrives in the great northern woods. We have chosen this as our name because we find it emblematic of our beautiful home. We aim to keep Northern Michigan in a state which allows the Starflower to thrive for generations to come.
